Brent Jones practices in Stoel Rives’ Corporate group, where he counsels clients in matters related to acquisitions and mergers, debt and equity financings, and general corporate matters. Brent works to design an efficient process for every transaction—from the approach to due diligence to structuring terms and negotiating and executing the deal. Brent has worked with middle-market and lower-middle-market companies in many industries. He has also worked with family-owned and closely held businesses in designing ownership structures that provide sufficient capital for growth while allowing the family to control key parts of the business and provide strong corporate governance oversight. Before joining Stoel Rives, Brent was a principal and chair of the business group at Foster Garvey PC (2019–2021) and an attorney and owner at Garvey Schubert Barer (1999–2019).
