Rocío García Bio

Rocío García is a partner in the Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity teams in the firm’s Madrid office. Rocío advises on all aspects of corporate work, with special focus on private equity and mainstream M&A, both national and cross-border. Throughout her career, she has taken part in, and led, a wide range of transactions, advising large industrial groups and private equity houses and their portfolio companies in the context of add-ons and liquidity events. Her broad expertise also encompasses advising on complex corporate reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures and special situations and distressed transactions. She also devotes part of her practice to working on growth and venture capital financing and corporate governance. Rocío is a professor of M&A, corporate and general commercial law at Carlos III University in Madrid and the IE Law School. She has been recognised by Law.com as a European Female Rising Star in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions in 2021.
