Matt Canipa Bio

Matt Canipa is a partner in our Private Equity and Corporate teams in the UK. Matt’s expertise covers all types of private capital-related corporate work. On the private equity side, Matt has a breadth of experience advising private equity houses/sponsors, their portfolio companies and management teams on private equity investments and buy and build/growth strategies. In particular, Matt has a depth of experience advising UK management teams on US growth capital and equity investments. On the corporate side, Matt’s clients range from owner-managers to listed companies, where Matt has extensive experience in private M&A (both buy and sell sides), joint ventures and reorganisations. “Partner Matthew Canipa is highly skilled, with an excellent commercial focus and always pushing the deal forward.” (Legal 500 Client Testimony).
