Denis Barat Bio

Denis Barat is a partner in the Global Corporate Practice, based in the Paris office. Denis focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate finance more generally. Denis has extensive experience in negotiating acquisitions, disposals and joint-ventures (notably in outbound and cross-border transactions) in a broad range of industries including in the consumer, food and beverages sectors and manufacturing industries. He also regularly advises strategic and financial investors in connection with investments in public companies. In the area of private equity, Denis advises sponsors in large cap and mid-cap leveraged buy-outs (including through competitive auctions and public-to-private transactions), late stage growth capital investments, build-ups and disposal.
