Keegan Lopez Bio

A Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department, Keegan Lopez regularly advises some of the world’s most prominent private equity sponsors, as well as public and private companies, on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, dispositions, carve-outs, strategic investments, joint ventures and other corporate transactions across a wide range of industries. Keegan’s clients have included Ingersoll Rand, Stonepeak, Blackstone, Sony Music Entertainment, Investor AB and its portfolio companies, Sarnova and Laborie Medical Technologies, Thompson Street Capital Partners and KKR, among many others. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Keegan worked at another international law firm where he also advised private equity firms and public and private companies, including KKR in its $2.2 billion acquisition of Arnott’s and certain of Campbell’s International Operations from Campbell Soup Company.
