David Harris is a partner in Ropes & Gray’s mergers & acquisitions group. He represents clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border public M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, carve-outs and spin-outs, and restructurings. David also counsels clients on general corporate, board and special committee matters. In addition, David has significant experience with acquisitions and dispositions of asset management and other financial services firms as well as passive infrastructure and data center assets. He has advised activists and shareholders, as well as targets, on a variety of activist-related matters. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, David was a partner in the New York office of another international law firm.
