Lisa Schmidt Bio

“Incredibly responsive and very proactive” (Chambers USA), Lisa Schmidt has over 30 years of experience litigating complex corporate disputes in the Delaware courts. Lisa focuses her practice on advising and representing Delaware corporations, their directors, and other constituencies in corporate litigation. “A very skilled lawyer” (Chambers USA, 2024), she has successfully litigated numerous corporate control, corporate governance, appraisal matters, and contractual disputes in the Delaware courts. Lisa also advises corporations, their directors, and special committees on corporate governance and fiduciary duties. Lisa is the co-chair of the Federal Securities Institute.
