Bio

Lisa Schmidt focuses her practice on advising and representing Delaware corporations, their directors, and other constituencies in corporate litigation. She has successfully litigated numerous corporate control, corporate governance, appraisal matters, and contractual disputes in the Delaware courts. Lisa also advises corporations, their directors, and special committees on corporate governance and fiduciary duties. Lisa recently shared her thoughts on practicing law “the Delaware way” in an interview with the Delaware Prosperity Partnership. A frequent lecturer on issues of Delaware corporate law and litigation, Lisa is the Co-Chair at the Federal Securities Institute.
