Zeldar Wang Bio

Zeldar is managing partner of the Shanghai office of Reed Smith. She qualified as a lawyer in Hong Kong and England and Wales and practises primarily in the areas of shipping, commodities, shipbuilding and offshore construction. She also has vast experience in acting for state-owned and private clients in M&A, trust, investment and other disputes. She represents clients under a wide range of jurisdictions and arbitral regimes, including ICC, ICA, HKIAC, SIAC and FOSFA, and in ad hoc arbitration (e.g., LMAA), as well as Hong Kong High Court litigation. Her client base includes Top 500 corporate enterprises, state-owned enterprises, listed companies, private companies (such as domestic and international traders), shipowners, shipyards, charterers and P&I clubs. Recent cases include London arbitrations relating to unsafe port disputes and new-building disputes and obtaining a successful HKIAC arbitration award in an offshore investment dispute.
