Vivian Ji Bio

Vivian has been active as a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer for more than 16 years. Her practice focuses on capital markets related matters, including bond issuance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance work for Hong Kong-listed companies and initial public offerings. She has represented many PRC local government financial vehicles in completing their offshore bond issuance transactions. In addition, she has acted as Hong Kong legal adviser to both issuers and sponsors in numerous large initial public offerings. Vivian is a member of the Greater Bay Area Legal Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Department of Justice and a distinguished mentor at the Faculty of Law of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has published more than 40 legal articles in Hong Kong Lawyers, Shanghai Lawyers and various Hong Kong newspapers. Vivian has significant experience in capital markets transactions and general corporate work. She was recognised by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific for Hong Kong capital markets (debt) in 2025 and named a "highly regarded" lawyer by IFLR1000 in 2024. Furthermore, her team won "Rising Star Law Firm of the Year" by Dealing Matrix International (DMI) and Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. (MOX) respectively in 2025. Vivian is also qualified in the PRC (non-practising) and as a GBA lawyer. She is a Civil Celebrant of Marriages as well.
