Julia Zhu-Morelli has extensive experience in transactional matters with Chinese and U.S. companies across a wide range of industries and represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, expansion strategies, cross-border transactions, private equity deals, capital market transactions, entity structuring, regulatory compliance and general corporate matters. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, Zhu-Morelli advises Chinese and U.S. companies and Chinese funds on various corporate and transactional matters, and provides counsel to U.S. companies involved in establishing Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise structures (WFOEs) or joint ventures with companies based in China. She serves as an Ambassador of Investment Promotion and Trade Representative for Jiangsu Province and assisted the government of Jiangsu with various investment projects. Julia began her legal career assisting the Nanjing Gulou District Court in judging scores of diverse business, civil and criminal cases.
