Jean-Pierre Collet Bio

Jean-Pierre Collet is partner in the Tax department of our Paris office. His practice covers all areas of corporate taxation, and he has a specific expertise advising domestic and international companies, investment funds and entrepreneurs on tax structuring, restructuring and the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions in France. Jean-Pierre has more than 25 years of experience representing large French and international groups, as well as investment funds, in connection with their acquisition projects and restructuring operations in France. He also assists clients in dealing with tax audits and litigation, and he takes part in the negotiation of solutions with the tax authorities. Before joining Reed Smith, he led the tax department of Winston & Strawn. Before, he worked within the tax department of FIDAL and also was a tax lawyer at FIDAL Peat International and at Arthur Andersen International.
