Andrew Houghton Bio

Andrew focuses his practice on private equity and M&A. He advises corporate clients, buyout and growth equity sponsors, and other asset managers – particularly in the financial institutions and technology sectors – on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions. His experience includes acquisitions and disposals, private equity and growth equity investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate matters. Andrew is also experienced in advising on various growth equity investments, including larger Series A and later series funding rounds for both companies and investors. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Andrew practiced at several international law firms.
