Edward Ackerman Bio

Edward Ackerman is a partner in the Corporate Department, a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups and serves on the firm’s Management Committee. He focuses his practice on advising private equity and strategic clients on their M&A, carve-out, joint venture, equity financing, restructuring and general corporate transactions. In 2023, Ted was named “Legal Advisor of the Year” by The M&A Advisor. Ted is also recognized by The Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer for his work in private equity buyouts, and in 2021, he was recognized by MergerLinks as a top 10 M&A lawyer in North America based on deal volume.
