Tom Sullivan Bio

Having grown up in Des Moines, Tom Sullivan values the quality of life the city has to offer and the opportunities he has had at Nyemaster. As a national insurance hub, Des Moines offers a natural path for Tom to focus his practice on the organizational and regulatory matters in insurance law. He serves many Iowa insurance companies and their affiliates in national operations as well as national insurers in their Iowa regulatory activities. Tom is the Executive Director of and General Counsel for the Iowa Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association and has served the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations, chairing several committees over the years as well as serving on its board. Tom is a frequent industry speaker and has participated in various sections of the Iowa State Bar Association. He has served on numerous boards and been active in community organizations and serves on several private foundations.
