Paul Lau Bio

Paul Lau is an international corporate, commercial, finance, investment funds and M&A lawyer. He has worked on transactions in more than 30 jurisdictions. Paul has extensive experience in English, Bermuda, Cayman, British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong law matters across multiple industries. He also has significant exposure to U.S. legal issues, including regulatory and compliance. I focus on providing clients with value-based solutions. As a former Magic Circle firm banking and finance lawyer and in-house legal counsel and legal director at multinational GE and GE Capital, I can better understand the needs of international corporate clients, private companies and financial institutions. I also spent almost 10 years on offshore matters, representing major fund houses and worked on numerous fund formations, including hedge funds and private equity.
