Eric Knickrehm focuses his practice on health care mergers and acquisitions as well as regulatory counseling and compliance. Eric counsels clients on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, underwriting, and financing, particularly on health care matters. His government and policy experience enables him to offer clients strategic guidance in their efforts to shape federal health care policy. Before transitioning to a full-time legal practice, Eric worked in government relations, with a focus on health care policy, at a major D.C. government relations firm, where he helped clients develop legislative strategy to achieve their policy goals on Capitol Hill. Eric also served in the Office of Legislation at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where he helped develop and implement such notable health care laws as the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act and the 21stCentury Cures Act.
