Natalie Ulburghs specializes in corporate law (focusing on mergers and acquisitions), commercial law, and energy law. Natalie worked at different international law firms (in Belgium and the United States) and has very extensive experience in domestic and international transactions and complex contractual negotiations. She has been lead lawyer in several take-overs and restructurings in the energy and telecom sectors, among others. She assists clients in drafting and negotiating corporate law and commercial law contracts. In addition, she handles numerous types of matters in energy law, including those pertaining to heat networks and network operators. Natalie graduated from KU Leuven in 1989 and has been a member of the Brussels Bar since then. During law school, she spent a semester studying at the Université de Poitiers (France) as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. During the academic year 1991-1992, she completed a Master of Laws from Duke University (USA). In 1992, she became a member of the New York Bar, and she practiced in the United States thereafter. Natalie is also a trained mediator. After working in Brussels for several years, she joined Monard Law as partner in 2007. She is often a keynote speaker at seminars on the Code of Companies and Associations, among other topics.
