John Bona Bio

John Bona is a partner of Milbank LLP and a member the firm's Leveraged Finance Group. For almost 20 years (including seven in Hong Kong), he has advised international banks, funds and private equity sponsors on complex, high profile leveraged and acquisition finance transactions in Asia and Europe. Mr. Bona is focused on advising credit providers and borrowers on private and public, leveraged and acquisition finance, including bridge-to-bond, debt/bond hybrid, super-senior revolving credit facilities and mezzanine and holdco financings. He has worked on cross-border transactions involving China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and the Philippines. Mr. Bona also has real estate, structured finance and cross-border restructuring experience.
