Derek Winokur is a partner and a member of the firm’s Global Corporate Group. Mr. Winokur focuses his practice on structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions on behalf of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Mr. Winokur also represents strategic buyers, sellers, special committees, management and investors in public and private mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Winokur represents companies in connection with more general corporate matters, including public reporting obligations, recapitalizations, buybacks, reforming corporate governance, and contests for corporate control. Mr. Winokur’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including technology, telecom, manufacturing and healthcare.
