Ryan Ferris Bio

Ryan Ferris is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and advises public and private companies in a variety of complex transactions, including public company mergers, leveraged buy-outs, minority and majority investments and strategic joint ventures. Ryan also frequently represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in various matters, including follow-on acquisitions, dispositions, corporate governance and management equity and incentive plans. He also regularly counsels clients on governance, securities and other general corporate matters. Ryan was recognized as an “Up and Coming” Corporate/M&A lawyer by Chambers USA in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
