Peter Wolf Bio

Pete Wolf serves clients in a wide range of transactions and corporate law matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Pete has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in complex, cross-border carveout transactions. Pete works for publicly traded and privately owned companies in a variety of industries, including chemicals, agribusiness, energy (including renewables), oil & gas, infrastructure, automotive, steel, industrial manufacturing, technology, financial services and wine & spirits. He also represents venture capital funds, CVCs, private credit groups, family offices, and founders and investors in connection with preferred equity financings of emerging companies. Pete has been ranked on multiple occasions as an “Up & Coming” leading Corporate/M&A lawyer in Chambers USA. Pete joined Mayer Brown in 2013 and is a partner in the Northern California office. Pete is the US leader of Mayer Brown’s Global Chemical Industry Group and is an active member in the Firm’s Agri, Food & Beverage Industry Group. He is also a member of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee.
