Clients look to Mike McElroy for his extensive experience with finance, securitization and technology transactions for the mortgage banking and consumer financial services industries. Mike routinely advises banks, non-bank lenders and their counterparties on their most important finance and securitization matters. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Mike was general counsel, chief compliance officer and secretary to several mortgage lenders and servicers, both privately- and publicly-owned. Clients leverage Mike’s 25-plus years of experience at national mortgage firms, government-sponsored enterprises and private law firms. His clients include Achieve Home Loans, Ally Bank, Flagstar Bank, Pretium Partners and numerous insurance companies.
