L. Kevin Sheridan Jr. has been a trusted advisor to corporations, investment funds and other financial investors for over 35 years. He advises clients on a diverse range of M&A, JV and other corporate matters, as well as on the formation and development of new investment platforms and products. Kevin has held various leadership roles at Mayer Brown, including leading its global corporate practice, and co-leading its infrastructure investment and investment funds businesses. Kevin’s M&A, joint venture and other corporate work spans a broad range of industries, and includes deep experience on cross-border transactions, especially for clients based in Japan and Latin America. Kevin also regularly works with global banks, pension funds and investment fund sponsors on the establishment of new investment platforms (as well as investments in and sales of such platforms) with strategies including infrastructure, credit, real estate and other private markets. Kevin has been recognized by Global M&A Network as one of the "Top 50 Global M&A Lawyers" and has been ranked in Chambers USA, Chambers Global and Legal 500 for his work with investment platforms. He has served as faculty chair and faculty member for several Practicing Law Institute seminars. He serves as a trustee of the Adaptive Sports Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of The Legal Aid Society and served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Convent of the Sacred Heart School in New York City for 12 years.
