Steven Roper Bio

Steven Roper has over 30 years of experience advising clients in a wide variety of corporate, governance, securities, executive compensation, commercial, licensing, financing and real estate matters. Steve has represented both public and private companies in transactions, such as business acquisitions and divestitures, the formation and operation of joint ventures, licensing and technology agreements, and real estate acquisition and development. His financing experience includes representing both financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of secured and unsecured credit facilities. Steve represents clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology, publishing, insurance and financial services. Steve is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D. 1988). He also holds engineering degrees from the University of California at Berkeley (M.S. 1981) and California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (B.S. 1979).
