Mathijs Van Doormalen has extensive experience with Dutch and foreign mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, private equity and venture capital transactions for investment funds as well as large and medium-sized companies and DGAs. Mathijs also advises on a wide range of corporate law aspects. He also has extensive experience in structuring and setting up investment funds. Mathijs has various teaching positions in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Mathijs has been with Lexence since 2003 and was also sworn in as a lawyer in that year. In 2006 he worked for a number of months as a lawyer in Boston at an American firm. Mathijs studied Dutch law and Spanish language and literature at Utrecht University and during that period took various legal courses for a semester at the Universidad Autònoma, Barcelona, ​​Spain. He completed the postgraduate course specializing in Corporate Law at the Grotius Academy with a cum laude result.
