Ryan Furtick is a tax and corporate advisor who helps clients navigate complex transactions and planning matters with precision and practical insight. Ryan serves as Practice Group Leader for the Taxation practice group at Lewis Rice. His broad-based tax practice includes federal income tax planning for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, and corporations, with a focus on business and succession planning. Ryan regularly advises clients on the tax aspects of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, joint ventures, and private equity deals. He also represents clients in tax controversy matters before the IRS and various state and local taxing authorities. Ryan’s corporate practice complements his tax work, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, corporate governance, and general business representation. He works with businesses and their owners throughout the entire life cycle of the enterprise, representing both buyers and sellers across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Lewis Rice, Ryan was an associate at Crady Jewett McCulley & Houren LLP in Houston, Texas. Ryan is a member of the Firm's Recruiting Committee.
