Olivier Du Mottay Bio

Olivier du Mottay is a corporate partner in Latham & Watkins' Paris office and the former Global Vice Chair of the Corporate Department. Olivier represents investors and companies at critical stages of their development, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and capital markets. He has extensive experience representing bidders, targeted companies, and managers in all types of corporate finance transactions. He is involved in the negotiation and the implementation of strategic alliances and joint ventures, as well as recapitalizations and restructurings. Olivier regularly advises companies in a variety of general corporate matters, including corporate governance, executive compensation, shareholders' disputes, and white collar matters. Before joining the firm, he was an associate at a leading French law firm where he was involved in corporate law issues, restructuring, and legal advice on directors' and officers' duties.
