Ashley Nguyen Bio

Ashley Nguyen advises clients on transactions across the energy and infrastructure sector. Ashley draws on broad experience in US and cross-border energy and infrastructure transactions to guide companies, private equity firms, and venture capital investors on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and joint ventures across the energy and infrastructure industry, including in the oil and gas, petroleum chemical, renewables, and energy transition sectors. Ashley’s experience prior to joining Latham includes serving as in-house counsel for BHP in its Houston, Singapore, and Mexico City offices. While there, she supported BHP’s entry into Mexico in the first-ever joint venture with Mexico’s national oil company. Ashley serves on the Board of Directors and as Board Secretary for CanCare, Inc., a nonprofit that provides support services to cancer patients and their caretakers.
