Alan Du is specialized in foreign direct investment, M&A, fund formation, investment of insurance company assets, and tax. Mr. Du has handled quite a few large projects, including M&A and joint venture projects in respect of insurance, money brokerage, ports, internet, resources, auto parts, logistics and consumption products and other industries, and the formation of RMB funds in various forms. He has handled the largest private equity transaction of China in a recent year, which was later awarded the prize of “Private Equity Deal of The Year” by a reputable law magazine. Mr. Du has the experience of representing both overseas investors and Chinese joint venture partners or target companies in M&A transactions. Mr. Du also serves as the external legal counsel for a number of international companies and large domestic companies in respect of their daily legal matters. In addition, Mr. Du has sufficient experience in advising tax matters.
