Sara Fon Miller Bio

Sara Fon Miller focuses her practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, capital raising, and other complex transactions, and general corporate and securities matters. She has advised public and private companies in a broad range of business sectors, including the manufacturing, telecommunications, engineering, technology, private equity, healthcare, and food and drug industries. Sara worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2012 and 2013. While attending law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal and was a legal extern at General Electric Energy Services for its Energy Management Division in Atlanta, Georgia. Sara was named a Georgia “Rising Star” in 2025 and the five years immediately preceding for Mergers & Acquisitions by Super Lawyers magazine. She was recognized as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" in 2022 for Mergers and Acquisitions Law and in 2023 for Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law by The Best Lawyers in America®. In 2023, Sara was honored as one of Lawyer of Color’s “Wonderful Women” in its inaugural list, which recognizes dynamic women attorneys working in law firms, companies, and government agencies across the U.S. who show promise in their careers and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.
