Over his 20-year career, Thomas Allen has litigated and arbitrated a wide variety of high-profile matters for clients located across the globe. Tom is a partner and member of the firm’s Energy, Construction and Infrastructure, and Complex Commercial Litigation Teams. He is based in Washington D.C. and serves as the firm’s Global Lead for International Disputes. Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Tom was an international arbitration and dispute resolution partner in the Washington, D.C. offices of two Global 100 law firms. Tom is a frequent lecturer on international legal topics and is a former adjunct professor at American University, Washington College of Law. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and is a member of the roster of arbitrators for the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association. Tom is also a member of the board of directors for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.
