Chuck Hardin Jr. has acted as the principal outside lawyer on literally hundreds of completed M&A and private equity transactions in more than 30 years of practice. In the past two decades, the main focus of his practice has involved the representation of private equity funds. Chuck is one of the founders of Jones Day's global Private Equity Practice and served as its chair for a decade. The private equity funds with which Chuck has worked include Blue Point Capital Partners, Blue Sea Capital, Brockway Moran & Partners, Edgewater Capital Partners, Francisco Partners, GenNx360 Capital Partners, Grey Mountain Partners, High Road Capital Partners, Industrial Growth Partners, Kirtland Capital Partners, Lindsay Goldberg, Littlejohn & Co., Linsalata Capital Partners, MCM Capital Partners, Morgenthaler Private Equity, Primus Capital, Questor Partners, Resilience Capital Partners, The Riverside Company, Rockwood Equity Partners, Sun Capital Partners, Swander Pace Capital, and WL Ross & Co. Chuck is a member of the board of advisors of The Riverside Company. In community matters, he is a trustee of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and has served as a trustee of several Cleveland area nonprofits, including the Achievement Centers for Children, College Now Greater Cleveland, and MOCA Cleveland.
