Evan Malloy Bio

Evan Malloy is a corporate lawyer focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital markets. In his practice, Evan assists public and private companies in negotiating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and controlled auctions in the U.S. and Canada and has advised clients on M&A transactions totaling over $10 billion in total consideration. Evan routinely advises on add-on acquisitions by clients owned by significant financial sponsors, including clients owned by NOVA Infrastructure, Wafra Inc., CapVest Limited, Leonard Green & Partners and KKR. He also regularly advises clients on financial reporting, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, and corporate governance matters. For issuers and investors engaging in capital markets transactions, Evan offers experience with public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. Evan serves as city practice group leader for the firm’s Fort Worth Corporate & Securities practice group. Evan has been recognized one of the “500 Leading Dealmakers in America” by Lawdragon. Evan has also been recognized as a “Top Attorney” by 360 West and Fort Worth Magazine and as a “Rising Star” in the field of mergers and acquisitions by Thomson Reuters. In 2017, Evan was recognized as one of “40 Under 40” by the Fort Worth Business Press. Outside of his practice, Evan served in 2018 and 2019 as an adjunct professor at the Texas A&M University School of Law, where he taught a course entitled “Entrepreneurship and the Law.” Evan also currently serves as a member of the Fort Worth Committee for the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
