Bio

Evan Malloy is a corporate lawyer focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital markets. In his practice, Evan assists public and private companies in negotiating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and controlled auctions in the U.S. and Canada. Evan routinely advises on add-on acquisitions by clients owned by significant financial sponsors, including clients owned by NOVA Infrastructure, Wafra Inc., and CapVest Limited and multiple portfolio companies of KKR & Co. Inc. He also regularly advises clients on financial reporting, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, and corporate governance matters. For issuers and investors engaging in capital markets transactions, Evan offers experience with public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. Evan serves as city practice group leader for the firm’s Fort Worth Corporate & Securities practice group. Outside of his practice, Evan served in 2018 and 2019 as an adjunct professor at the Texas A&M University School of Law, where he taught a course entitled “Entrepreneurship and the Law.” Evan also currently serves as a member of the Fort Worth Committee for the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
