Douglas A. Paisley’s primary areas of practice include cross-border and international transactions, commercial and project finance, corporate law, and general business law. He has extensive experience in representing non-U.S. companies doing business in the U.S., U.S. companies doing business overseas, and high net worth non-U.S. individuals in a variety of matters concerning foreign and domestic financial, real estate, corporate, tax and commercial issues including international project financings, mergers and acquisitions, sales and distribution arrangements, joint ventures, technology transfers, and licensing and entity formations. Doug’s practice also includes the representation of borrowers and lenders in a variety of lending transactions and regulatory matters such as commercial real estate and construction loans, project financing, equipment leasing, international trade finance, Euro-currency and foreign currency loans, syndicated loan transactions, corporate and municipal financings, loan workouts, debt restructuring, and regulation of foreign bank operations in the U.S.
