Barron P. Bogatto is a partner in the Healthcare practice group and actively participates in the Corporate & Securities and Real Estate industry groups of Jackson Walker. Barron’s corporate, transactional, and regulatory practice centers almost exclusively on the provision of comprehensive legal services to the healthcare industry. Since beginning practice in 1986, he has advised healthcare providers of all types in matters relating to Medicare, Medicaid, and other governmental program laws and regulations; reimbursement controversies; administrative appeals; corporate, real estate, finance, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, and other business transactions; corporate and health regulatory compliance matters; operational and employment matters; medical practice structuring, governance, and restructuring; and the formation and operation of provider networks. Barron has substantial experience regarding healthcare regulatory issues and restrictions involving healthcare fraud and abuse, false claims, and physician anti-referral matters affecting healthcare joint ventures and integrated delivery systems; governmental healthcare program reimbursement; health industry mergers & acquisitions; hospital/physician relationships and joint ventures; and a host of other legal issues affecting hospitals, clinics, and other providers.
