Ellee Cochran Bio

Ellee knows the ultimate goal in regulatory healthcare: providing the highest quality care to patients. Ellee represents hospitals, physicians, managed care companies, and other healthcare entities in their regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations. She enjoys learning the details of clients’ unique objectives, at times serving as sole outside counsel for both small and large healthcare providers. Ellee counsels clients through a variety of state and federal regulations. Clients appreciate Ellee’s experience as a former litigator and appellate lawyer, as well as representing physicians before state licensing agencies, including the Texas Medical Board, and assisting hospitals through the physician peer review process. She frequently helps clients navigate highly sensitive issues by conducting internal investigations and root cause analysis. Ellee is also skilled in guiding clients with responding to requests under the Texas Public Information Act. She anticipates issues and works closely with clients to offer tailored, practical solutions, with a novel ability to avoid problems before they start.
