Zach Burnett Bio

Zach Burnett is the Co-Head of M&A and Private Equity and a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes Boone. Zach focuses his practice on corporate law, private and public mergers and acquisitions, and other complex domestic and international transactions for clients in a variety of industries, including the building products, construction materials, manufacturing, insurance and professional services sectors. Zach assists clients in structuring and forming new business ventures and provides ongoing governance and operational advice to joint ventures, operating companies, investment funds, family offices, and other businesses. He also assists clients in the procurement and negotiation of coverage under representation and warranty insurance (RWI) policies in the context of M&A transactions. In addition to his M&A practice, Zach regularly advises investment funds, and investment advisors with regard to the formation, organization and operation of both hedge funds and private equity funds and their compliance with applicable federal and state laws.
