Brad Gerber concentrates his practice in commercial real estate including transactions and contracts related to development, financing, construction, and leasing. Brad adds significant value to the economics of a transaction and clients are often drawn to Brad for his business experience. Brad often represents clients in the acquisition, construction, development, sale and leasing of commercial, residential, industrial, retail, office and mixed-use real estate projects in Chicago and across the country. Brad advocates for clients in complex lease preparation and negotiations, including a large wholesale distribution company with over 800 locations nationally. Brad’s experience in structuring complex real estate transactions, negotiating construction contracts on projects of all sizes has earned him a reputation for being a deal-maker. Brad also represents come of Chicago’s more notable non-profit companies and private foundations advising on their real estate portfolios. On the lending side, Brad represents a number of Chicago banks in loan transactions ranging from acquisition, construction and development loans, to asset-secured and real property financing, to negotiating workouts of financially distressed loans.
