Laura Hodges Taylor, a partner in the firm's Financial Industry and Fintech practices, has a broad range of expertise, focusing on transactions involving investments, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Ms. Hodges Taylor represents a range of investment management firms, including private equity firms, hedge fund managers and investment advisors, often as outside general counsel, and advises on their investments as well as on formation of their funds and establishment of their management companies. She also works with businesses in a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, traditional industry, real estate and business and professional services, representing them on acquisitions and divestitures as well as financing transactions. Ms. Hodges Taylor served as co-chair of Goodwin's Corporate Department, she founded and led the firm’s women’s initiative (Women@Goodwin), and is a former member of the firm's Executive Committee, Partnership Committee and Allocations Committee. She spent three years in the firm’s Paris office, and has been involved in numerous cross-border and multi-jurisdiction transactions.
