Ananth Lakshman Bio

Ananth Lakshman is a partner in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of the firm’s Private Equity group. Ananth focuses on cross border transactions for venture capital and private equity sponsors and their respective portfolio companies, and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, joint ventures, co-investments, early and late stage venture capital, and growth equity investments across a wide variety of sectors and industries. He has represented a diverse range of clients including B Capital Group, TA Associates, Alpha Wave Global (formerly Falcon Edge Capital), DST Global, Hillhouse Investment, Warburg Pincus, FountainVest Partners, Horizons Ventures, LionRock Capital, Canaan Partners, Tybourne Capital Management, Vy Capital, Lightrock, Accel, and Alkeon Capital. He has also advised several companies on their fund raising efforts and acquisitions, including Paula’s Choice, Sun King, TechProcess, and Accion Labs. Ananth began his career in India and joined Goodwin in 2015. He has significant experience in transactions across North America and the Asia-Pacific region, especially in China, India, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, and Australia.
