Bio

Laura Rupenian is a partner in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Global Finance Practice Groups. She concentrates her work on domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions for private equity groups, corporate borrowers and selected lending institutions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and working capital facilities. Laura spent over a decade at Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a member of the firm’s Debt Finance Group and a partner in the San Francisco office. Subsequently, Laura was a partner at Goodwin Procter, where she led the firm’s West Coast Debt Finance Group. Her representative transactions include those she handled at these firms. Laura received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a Masters in Laws from Northwestern University. She is licensed to practice law in California and Buenos Aires (inactive).
