Wendy Greenspoon-Soer Bio

Wendy joined Garfinkle Biderman in 1991 as an articling student and became a partner in 1999. She specializes in all areas of bankruptcy and insolvency and commercial litigation, with a strong focus on commercial and residential mortgage remedies, including receiverships and power of sale proceedings. Wendy is often retained on real estate related disputes, including co-ownership disputes, contested closings, construction lien matters and commercial tenancy disputes. Wendy acts for banks and private lenders, receivers, trustees and borrowers in mortgage and debt enforcement or restructuring matters. Wendy’s practice also includes title insurance matters, as well as real estate conveyancing and private mortgage transactional work, making her uniquely qualified to approach real property litigation with a greater understanding and perspective.
