Kevin is a business-minded transactional and corporate attorney. He represents start-up businesses and established brands; angel, venture capital, and private equity investors; entrepreneurs and sports and entertainment talent; and high-net-worth individuals and family offices on a full range of matters, from entity formation and other day-to-day matters to the purchase and sale of businesses and assets with values in excess of $100 million. Kevin’s business clients benefit from his experience in roles including founder, director, advisor and attorney. As a result of these varied experiences, Kevin has an intimate understanding of the challenges faced by businesses. He possesses broad knowledge of the legal and compliance functions of a company, including employment and intellectual property matters, company operations involving production and distribution, governance, financing, commercial leases, business licensing, and services agreements, which enables him to provide clients effective and valuable counsel. Kevin’s luxury law practice includes provision of a full suite of legal services to brands, including with respect to the management of intellectual property assets, services arrangements, and rights acquisition and disposition, and support for brands, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals in connection with the purchase, sale, lending and maintenance of high-value assets, with work encompassing yachts, ships & submersibles, works of art, automobiles and residential construction projects. His consumer brands, food & beverage, and fashion & apparel practices include representation of brands developing innovative technology or unique approaches to service and product delivery as well as those producing the highest-quality versions of staple products and trading on their reputations for consistency and reliability. He works with domestic brands as well as international brands seeking to expand into the United States. Kevin counsels clients in these sectors on operations, intellectual property protection, manufacturing/packing, broker, distribution, supply and other services arrangements as well as on other commercial matters, capital raises, debt funding, and exit transactions.
