Will Black provides strategic counseling to emerging and high-growth companies, leading venture capital firms, strategic investors in their corporate venture capital programs and growth investors. Considered a strategic partner and tireless advocate for entrepreneurs and investors and the companies and leadership teams they have built, Will combines pragmatic business experience and legal expertise to provide full-lifecycle counsel to clients from formation and launch, to milestone events and exit transactions. Advising on all aspects of general corporate and securities law — including incorporation, corporate governance responsibilities, employee equity and commercial transactions — Will thrives working in the trenches with emerging and high-growth companies and investors that finance these companies. Will also prioritizes creating connections with and support for fellow Latinos within the startup and venture capital ecosystems, including working with SomosVC. In addition to his active practice, Will is passionate about contributing to the future leading startup attorneys and next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, co-teaching Venture Capital at Stanford Law School and previously teaching Business Law at UTEP.
