Jeremy Morris is a health care attorney and trusted antitrust counselor who advises his clients on how federal and state antitrust laws impact business, especially in the health care industry. Clients value his practical, solution-oriented advice, which helps them achieve their business goals. Jeremy provides counsel to clients on antitrust issues that arise in the context of mergers, joint ventures, and provider integration. He also assists clients with Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, designs FTC-compliant provider networks, develops structural and operational safeguards to help clients avoid antitrust issues, and defends clients from government antitrust investigations. In addition, hospitals and physician leaders rely on Jeremy’s guidance across the spectrum of medical staff matters that include credentialing and privileging issues, the peer review process, and quality improvement. Jeremy has significant experience advising hospitals on corrective action investigations, fair hearings, and appeals. He also aids clients in the development of effective peer review processes, prepares medical staff documents, and manages provider practice issues, including provider licensing. Jeremy previously served as in-house counsel at a tertiary care, regional referral center in northern Kentucky. In that role, he gained substantial experience in day-to-day hospital operations that he now utilizes to assist his clients in a variety of operational, transactional, and regulatory matters.
