Hope Krebs Bio

Hope P. Krebs is an international tax partner, the co-chair of the firm's International Practice and a member of our Corporate Transparency Act Strategy Team. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Ms. Krebs was a senior manager of International Tax Services for Ernst & Young LLP and, prior to that, was associated with the New York office of another major national law firm. Ms. Krebs is the co-author of a Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. Tax Management Portfolio titled 915-1 T.M. U.S. Income Tax Withholding - Foreign Persons and the author of numerous tax, corporate and international articles. She is a frequent speaker on international tax topics at tax conferences across the country. Ms. Krebs is a past Chair of Multilaw, the preeminent global legal network of independent law firms with over 10,000 lawyers in more than 150 commercial centers around the world. She served on Multilaw's Management Committee and chaired a number of its key operational committees, including its Finance, Appraisals, Conferences and Pro Bono committees. Ms. Krebs has served as President of the British-American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia and continues to serve as a Board member of the organization and its Vice President of Strategic Direction. She is a member of the Planning Board for the annual Philadelphia Tax Conference. Ms. Krebs is admitted to practice law in New York and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Tax Court. She is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in Finance and Industry. Ms. Krebs is a 1992 graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M., taxation), a 1987 graduate of Villanova University School of Law (J.D.) and a graduate of Drexel University (B.S., Business Administration).
