John supports publicly traded and privately held companies based in the U.S., Canada, and other non-U.S. jurisdictions with their business transactions and securities matters. He regularly works alongside Canadian counsel and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, investment banking, corporate governance, joint ventures, venture capital, and other private and public equity financings. John frequently assists non-U.S. business with accessing U.S. capital markets. John enjoys learning the unique considerations of each client and leverages his prior in-house experience to provide efficient and actionable advice. He is enthusiastic about the law and is energized by complex problems. John’s vision of success includes empowering his clients to make informed decisions. Prior to law school, John worked as a roughneck and welder in the oil and mining industries on locations throughout U.S. and Canada.
