Virginie is a corporate M&A partner based in DLA’s Antwerp working hub and heading a team specialised in corporate and insurance law matters. She is used to managing intricate national and international transactions and restructurings in different industries. She has built up an expertise in respect of advising insurers, MGA’s and brokers regarding their Brexit strategy and the structuring thereof; W&I underwriting in M&A deals and the handling of claims; consolidation exercises in the insurance industry, transfer of run off portfolio’s, underwriting questions, etc. She is ranked as a leading individual for the Belgian insurance sector in the Legal 500. Virginie is very active in the field of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and regularly gives seminars and advice to corporate clients about the CSRD and the CSDDD regulations as well as the implementation thereof. She is therefore a go-to person in the field of corporate governance and compliance.
