Oana specializes in mergers & acquisitions, with particular focus on sectors, such as Consumer Goods, Food and Retail, Technology, Life Sciences, Energy and Natural Resources. She has been involved in various complex M&A deals acting on all sides and gained experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions. She is able to adapt to the needs of each business and is recognized for her enthusiastic and creative approach. Oana is appreciated by the most sophisticated clients for her thorough understanding of the sectors, her grasp of transactions’ details and her tireless efforts to get the deal done. Oana is a key member of DLA Piper’s Private Equity practice. She has established herself as a confident transaction manager, making sure that deals go from signing to completion smoothly and efficiently. Private equity clients really value her work ethic, patience, attention to detail and commercial acumen. She has great charisma and builds rapport with the other side during negotiations, which is key to get deals done. Oana is a core member of our International Corporate Reorganizations practice group, having been involved in a myriad of ICR projects. She leads and coordinates the ICR projects involving Romania and is fundamental in delivering those projects in a seamless and orderly manner.
